The pizzas were absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Salami 2.0 I had. The toppings were of the very highest quality. I was especially surprised by the tomatoes, which seemed to have been semi-dried or something similar. The base was, of course, excellent, as it was cooked in a proper oven. I think the base should have a bit of ash and charcoal in it; it adds a lovely extra flavour to the pizza. We ate outside, with a view of the lake on both sides. The pizzas arrived quickly and everything else was spot on. Service at the counter was a bit chaotic, but perhaps there were some new staff on duty. They’d thought of the kids too, as the menu included a classic chicken basket (which, by the way, got two thumbs up from the boys).

A brilliant place with brilliant pizzas. It really lives up to its reputation! 🙂 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Excellent pizzas and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. The service was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Lovely lake views. Even a light shower didn’t spoil our meal on the covered terrace. A brilliant place!

A truly lovely place. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service friendly. The coach service between Joensuu, Ylämylly and Liperi is also very well organised. The food is delicious and there’s a wide variety of artists to suit all tastes.

A brilliant first experience! Plenty of vegan options on the pizzas; the vegan pistachio ice cream was lovely. The customer service was also really friendly, and it’s a neat and atmospheric place. Lots of non-alcoholic drinks on offer. We’ll definitely be back!

Better pizzas than in Italy.

We first visited this place quite by chance on the last day of the summer season before it closed until next year. And it turned out to be so pleasant, atmospheric and delicious that I put it on my list of favourites. Right on the pier, numerous seats on several terraces. Cute interior inside the cafe. Good range of thin crust pizzas and lots of juicy toppings. Salads. Variety of cold and hot drinks. Desserts with coffee. Really enjoyed it. I can safely recommend.

It's the ultimate restaurant experience. The location is a bit remote but don't be alarmed, the road is in good condition. Especially if you are coming from further away, the whole bet is recommended, i.e. evening cruise, drinks, appetizers, pizza and tiramisu on top. The pizza was just as a Naples pizza should be and the tiramisu could have been another portion. (The pizza may not have been the absolute best I've ever had, Soossi in Joensuu set the bar pretty high. However, we are talking about an authentic product and this is also reflected in other reviews.) It is indeed worth making a reservation, as there are plenty of other visitors. Go and eat.

Excellent pizzas. There are drinks and other things to eat. I was there at the right time without a reservation and in less than 15mins the pizzas were ready to taste.

The unique possibility to book a table and order a pizza at the same time as you arrive on time is, in my opinion, a revolutionary improvement for the restaurant industry. I have not seen this anywhere in the world, not in the US, South East Asia, India, Europe etc. In addition, the new boat dock with functioning fuel distribution and excellent clean toilet facilities are exceptional. What might be a small improvement for me would be gas or electric infrared heaters for the evenings, but I don't know if this makes economic sense.

We arrived at the Archipelago Puodi by tour boat and had to look a bit to see where to catch the bigger boat (30 feet). However, it was easy to find a place for the boat. The menu was checked and Jaska&Kaljat was selected for the order. The big terrace and the nice view did not make us notice that the order was a bit long. Well, there was no hurry to get there and the staff informed us. The pizzas arrived and the pizza was exactly as I thought it would be. The crust was excellently cooked and the crust very good. The base was tasty. There were enough toppings. A little more than I thought because in Italy Less is More many times on pizzas. But the toppings were just right for my taste, not too much and not too little. Panna Cotta for dessert and Tiramisu for another. They were extremely good. Worth ordering dessert, were really good. It was nice to see that there were local microbrewery beers in the cupboard. Friendly and cheerful staff. The warm atmosphere was conveyed to the customer. There was a new pizza oven in the backyard. I wonder if it will replace the old one or add more baking capacity. We'll be back here again. Thanks to the staff for the nice service 😊👍

The pizzas in the shop are the best of the summer!

Visited this cosy place several times. This time by boat. Ordered pizza for the first time and it was really good, quite different from the usual pizza from the rack. The kids also liked it very much. All in all, a very cosy place.

Really good pizzas. The pre-order worked like clockwork and the order was prepared quickly, we got our food in maybe about 10 minutes. Nice looking place for people and tourists in the area. Full stars because the place worked very well for its kind.
